Newsletter Privacy Notice
Last updated: 5 October 2026. This notice explains how S & S Co. Advocates & Solicitors (“we”, “us”) handles the email address you give us to receive our newsletter, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- Your email address, which you enter in the sign-up form.
- The page you signed up from, and the date and time of your request, so that we can keep a record of your consent.
- Technical details, such as IP address and browser type, that our website host (Netlify) may record with a form submission to prevent spam and abuse.
Why we collect it
Only to send you our fortnightly newsletter — a digest of court rulings, regulatory developments and practical guides — and to manage your subscription. We do not sell your email address.
Consent
We rely on your consent, given by ticking the box on the sign-up form.
Who handles your data
Submissions are stored in our website host’s form service and are accessible only to authorised members of our staff. We may use an email-delivery service to send the newsletter; such providers handle your email address only on our instructions.
How long we keep it
Until you withdraw your consent or we discontinue the newsletter, whichever is earlier. After that, we will delete your email address from our subscriber records.
Your choices and rights
You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to communications@snsco.in with the subject “Unsubscribe”. At the same address you can ask us to give you access to, correct or erase your email address, or raise a grievance. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the Act.
Children
The newsletter is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect the email addresses of persons under 18.
